An Open Letter To Celebrate Gray For Good #SilverSisters Leaders
Women’s gray hair is more than having a moment. COVID and coloring interruption helped catapult many to finally give in and stop coloring their gray hair (me included). Pre-pandemic, there were women already putting themselves front and center as faces for the topic and voices saying it’s time to support women who go gray. Gray For Good – For All Womanhood has created a leaders list of many of these women, yet we know there are so many more. We see value in growing this list exponentially. The larger the number of leaders, the more momentum the movement will become.
Additionally, when we launched Gray For Good in February of 2021, we envisioned tens of thousands of women jumping on board to say, “I grayed, I saved, I gave” and take some of the estimated savings of the $20 billion (you read that right) and shift it to women and girls causes devoted to ending the gender equity gap.
We are looking to mobilize 50,000 women, including our LEADERS, to donate $20 each using the hashtag #grayforgood, stating the dollar amount donated and tagging the charity donated to.
Need a cause that is valid and valuable? Well, there are 50,000+ women and girls causes in the U.S. You can request that from the link here and choose which one best serves your vision.
